what to say, what to say?

I was told this evening by my father that he reads my blog. This inspired me to post. It is also the reason why this post is going to have little or nothing to do with alcohol.

I am looking for a car. You already knew this, right? Well, I may have found one. That is why I plan to take a little trip this weekend....down to Atlanta, to look at a car. If you were curious, it's an Infiniti G35. If you hadn't already heard this and you feel offended, please don't be. I was planning on surprising you, and then I realized that the whole surprise thing wasn't going to be working out so hot when I started calling you all and asking you for rides to the airport on Saturday morning.

I may have a traveling companion - if this is the case, I may not need a ride after all. If it is not the case, I will almost definitely need someone to drive me to the airport on Saturday morning, and possibly back from the airport on Sunday or sometime. I'll certainly let you know.

Work is tough right now. I've hit an annoying snag that I can't very well circumvent on my own. The days seem long. And I still don't feel like I'm getting enough sleep. On the other hand, I do have the office to myself. This would have seemed like a great thing, but partly it means that I have no one to run my ideas by, and partly it means that it's really quiet. Except for my music, which I can play through my speakers.

I haven't actually started running yet, for those of you who had that impression. I intend to, but I want it to get just a tad warmer, so that I'm not worried about it getting cold again. Also, at this very moment, things just seem too busy. Maybe they aren't, but they seem that way.

I am going to sleep now. Shocking, but it's true. Oh, today I made sandwiches and took them to work, for the first time in a while. I'm really tired of restaurant food, even if it's filet mignon.

I can pick you up from the airport but probably not drive you there.

Thanks! Hopefully a ride back won't be necessary, but...you never know.

I'll try to give you as much advance warning as possible.
